Nicole and Luke, a smiling couple from the United States which has had its initial origins in Chios Island, travelled there with their loved ones in the summer of 2019 for their wedding celebration. The couple’s guests had had the opportunity to partake in this unique occasion acknowledging the exploratory adventure of being introduced to the local customs and history of this affluently picturesque island. In a three-day experience event, all the guests were presented with the breath-taking chance to further explore the major landscapes of the island through the program of Mastiha Experience and the collaboration of Joanna Loukaki, Alios Tours and Almiriki Hotel. During their wedding rehearsal and representation at Oz Bay in Agios Isidoros, our guests experienced the Mediterranean flavours immensity of the Greek cuisine with local ingredients and cocktails which were based on the particular tastes of mastic resin and local mandarins. Needless to say, the guests were also fortunate enough to swing vibrantly to the summer groove with a traditional dance group coming in closer touch with the particularities of our rich tradition.
